What is deionized water and why is it better for window cleaning?

Deionized water is pure, filtered water that has undergone reverse osmosis to remove the minerals responsible for leaving streaky deposits on windows. It is better to use for window cleaning because its purity will break down and dissolve the smallest particles of dirt and debris typically left behind on windows. There are no streaks or spots left behind, and no rush to dry! The pure water will evaporate to a clear finish and is the most eco-friendly choice for window cleaning

Pairing deionized water with our telescopic pole and brush quickly reveals a spotless shine every time. There is no rush to dry quickly to avoid spots and streaks. Making your own deionized water involves several pieces of equipment that tends to be costly or more laborious for the average consumer. Let the professionals take care of it so you can enjoy a clear view. To get San Diego’s best window washing service, contact our team for a free estimate and seasonal packages.

What Should I Do to Prepare My Property for Pressure Washing?

Before pressure washing begins, the best thing to do to prepare your property is to remove anything that is not fixed into place that could be damaged by water. When it is not possible to move expensive or irreplaceable objects such as water sources, trees and natural ecosystems, we go above and beyond to seal off and completely protect these areas from being affected by any of the work we perform.

How will the window cleaners protect my flooring, walls, furniture, etc.?

  • We either wear protective disposable “booties” that cover our shoes or we take our shoes off when entering your home.
  • We make sure our ladders and equipment are clean prior to entering your home.
  • All our ladders have rubber feet that are anti-skid and don’t scratch floors.
  • We will also spot check the areas we have been to make sure we have not left anything behind.

To protect your belongings:

  • Our window cleaners use a minimal amount of water while inside your home; this helps us prevent splashing water inside your home.
  • All our window cleaners carry a fresh drop towel that is set out on the floor, over desks, or other furniture in order to prevent any stray drops of water from getting onto your belongings.
  • Our sectional ladders have wool bonnets which keep the walls surrounding high interior windows from being scratched or dented.
  • We take care when moving furniture, or belongings from in front of windows.
  • We are 100% insured. We have a $2 million liability insurance policy, and we’re fidelity bonded. Although we’re 100% accident-free and intend to stay that way, we are covered just in case.

Can I clean solar panels myself?

For DIY solar panel cleaning, you will need a ladder or another safe way to reach the panels, non-abrasive equipment, and solutions to ensure you do not damage the delicate surface of your panels. Using harsh chemicals, cloths or brushes can not only damage the panel itself but also leave you with a streak-filled surface that is worse than when you started. Pressure washing them yourself can scratch the surface and using household supplies such as glass cleaners or DIY mixtures can be laborious and time-consuming. This is also not a job we recommend doing by yourself. For your safety, it’s best to have someone with you for assistance.
